Science Communication Contest 2007


The very first competition was a success on all fronts. 277 entries were received as at the closing date on 30 th March 2007 from 59 schools all zones inclusive. A wide range of topics as varied as, Global Warming, Aids, Diabetes, Tsunami, Chikungunya, Magnetism, Sun Spots, Marine Life were selected by the participants showing the interest of our young students in this competition. The works presented by the students were really praiseworthy and the performances of the winners were excellent.

The Runner-up of the contest was POOLOOVADOO Yanish of Le Bocage International School and was awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a trophy. The Winner of the Science Communication Contest 2007 was Ramyead Divya Pallavi of Ebene S.S.S. and was awarded a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and a trophy. A certificate was awarded to all finalist students and Supervising Teachers.
